Buttress Bowl Sans uses bold, solid strokes with broad rounded counters. In the rendered word BOWL, the base has solid strokes while B and O retain their open counters; its Outline sibling renders hollow strokes around the same letterforms, while the 3D sibling adds an offset contour.

Set the same short word in the base, 3D and Outline files, then pick the treatment that suits the job and supports the characters you need.
The base, 3D and Outline versions are rendered from their own files at the same preview size. The comparison shows different treatments, not a CSS effect or a shared download entitlement.
The 3D and Outline entries are separate font records. Their measured character counts are 149 each, compared with 332 for the base; verify the exact words and access level on each record.

BAGEL keeps the rounded bowl in a longer sequence, so the counters can be compared with neighboring straight and curved strokes across the three separate files.
The base, 3D and Outline files use the same five letters at 72 px. This view shows how each treatment reads when the bowl sits beside a diagonal and an open curve; it does not establish shared advances, baseline behavior or full character coverage.

The checked Buttress Bowl Sans file maps all ten digits, the punctuation shown, and the common symbols in the last row; euro, pound and yen signs are absent.

Test
Type the words you plan to use and adjust size, line height, and letter spacing. The preview uses the final font file.

Choose
In the BOWL and BAGEL samples, the base keeps solid strokes around the counters in B and O; BAGEL also shows how A, G and E sit alongside those rounded forms.
In the three-file comparison, the base uses solid strokes, the Outline file renders hollow strokes with inner and outer contours, and the 3D file adds an offset edge around the same wording.
The rendered labels show measured coverage: base 332 characters, 3D 149 and Outline 149, so their coverage is not interchangeable.
Good for
Use the solid base for short product headings or packaging labels where its connected joins carry the main visual character.
Check before using
Do not assume the related effect files have the same glyph coverage, file length or access terms as the base; compare each version before choosing.
About
Buttress Bowl Sans's lowercase x reaches 71.4% of the capital height, close to the 71.4% median for sans serif fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 3.7% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 28% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is close to a circle, 1.03 times as wide as it is tall, and W is the widest capital, at 1.31 times the width of H. Round letters overshoot: O rises 1.3% of the cap height above H and dips 1.2% below the baseline.
The letters stand upright, leaning less than 2.5° either way. Vertical stems measure 19.1% of the cap height. The contrast is mild: the sides of o and O are 1.17 times as thick as their tops and bottoms.
Its 331 characters include 288 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 236 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 46% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 13.5% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Buttress Bowl Sans will not line up exactly.

Method
The supplied font files were checked for the characters and letter shapes shown here. AI helped describe the visible forms and draft the examples; each sample uses the named font file. Previews are illustrative, and file measurements come from the delivered files.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Acorn Birch reserves 0.332 em versus 0.653 em in Buttress Bowl Sans. Its narrower advance can help when that capital repeats in a compact heading.
Acorn Vetch gives g a 0.424 em advance; here it is 0.566 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
