Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not create or upload on this site, which AI models make your fonts, how descriptions and images are checked, and how to report content or appeal a decision.

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This policy applies to everything you type, upload, create or download on aifontgenerator.net. It is part of our Terms of Service. It covers the font generator, handwriting fonts, the Studio (AI redraws and added languages), font uploads and our free tools.

Content you must not create or upload

You must not use descriptions, notes, images, handwriting or fonts to create, or try to create, any of the following.

  1. Pornography and sexual content. Sexually explicit material, including fonts or specimens built from explicit imagery.
  2. Violence and extremism. Content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism or real-world violence against people.
  3. Hate. Hate symbols and content that attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
  4. Child-unsafe content. Anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers children. We block it, close the account and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Using someone's handwriting or likeness without their permission, and fonts or documents made to pass as someone else's signature, ID or official material.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement. Copies of a specific existing typeface, and logos, brand lettering or trademarks you do not own. Upload only fonts you are allowed to modify and images you have the right to use.

Also not allowed: content that promotes self-harm or suicide, harassment of any person, and anything illegal where you live or where the font will be used.

How your fonts are made

  • Fonts from a description or a reference image are drawn by Mixfont's font generation models.
  • Handwriting fonts are traced from the photos of your template; no AI model draws them.
  • AI redraws and added languages in the Studio are drawn by Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Image model, through our image provider APIMart. If APIMart is unavailable, Google's Gemini API runs the same model directly. Google's Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite and Gemini 3.5 Flash models read each new letter back before it is added.
  • Font Finder matches the lettering in your image with Mixfont's recognition model.

Every generated font is labeled as AI-generated. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Mixfont, Google, APIMart, Waffo or SeeAPI.

How we moderate content

  • Before a font is made. Every description and every redraw note is checked against our blocklist of prohibited terms, then by Waffo Pancake's Prompt Sift safety check, and by SeeAPI's automated content moderation when it is enabled. Reference images and handwriting photos are checked by SeeAPI when it is enabled.
  • Before a font joins the library. Fonts made on the Free plan are public only after we review them by hand.
  • Records and review. We keep a record of each moderation decision and review reports by hand. We update the blocklist when records or reports show something it missed.

A blocked description or refused image never uses credits. Automated filters do not catch everything, so these rules apply whether or not something is blocked. Style words that are common in type design, such as "horror", "grunge" or "blood drip", are fine.

Do not misuse the service

  • Do not try to get around moderation, for example by misspelling blocked words or splitting a request across notes.
  • Do not bypass download limits or human verification, for example with multiple accounts, automated scripts or rotating IP addresses.
  • Do not scrape, mirror or bulk download the library.
  • Do not resell, share or transfer your account, credits or access.
  • Do not interfere with the site, try to access other people's accounts or files, or probe our systems for vulnerabilities without permission.
  • Do not redistribute or resell library font files. See the AIFontGenerator Font License for what is allowed.

What we do when the rules are broken

Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:

  • block the description or image and refuse the font;
  • delete fonts, uploads and images that break this policy, and remove fonts from the library;
  • remove unused credits from the account, without a refund;
  • suspend or permanently close the account; and
  • report the content to the appropriate authorities, which we always do for child-unsafe content where the law requires.

Repeated attempts to get around moderation lead to suspension.

Report content or appeal a decision

To report a font, an upload or behavior that breaks this policy, email support@aifontgenerator.net with a description and, if you have it, the page link or font name. We review every report by hand, remove content that breaks this policy, and reply by email.

If you think we blocked something or took action on your account by mistake, reply to our email or write to the same address and tell us why. We will review the decision again.
