The terms that apply when you use this site at aifontgenerator.net.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use AIFontGen at aifontgenerator.net ("AIFontGen", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use AIFontGen.

Some features need an account. Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

3. Library fonts and licenses

Fonts in the AIFontGen library are covered by the AIFontGenerator Font License. Free downloads are for personal, non-commercial projects. Commercial use and redistribution come with a Pro or Studio plan, as the license describes.

Downloading fonts requires an account. Free accounts can download fonts from the free collection only, up to a monthly limit, and downloads may require a security check. Do not bypass these limits, share download access, or collect font files with automated tools.

Images you make with our free online tools, such as a signature PNG, are yours to use for any purpose, personal or commercial. This does not license the font files themselves.

4. Fonts you create

You can create a font from a description, a reference image, or photos of your handwriting on our template. Each font uses credits, shown before you start. If we cannot make or check the font, the credits come back to your account automatically. A font that was made successfully is final; if you do not like the result, you can create a new one.

Only submit descriptions, images and handwriting you have the right to use; upload only your own handwriting or handwriting you have permission to turn into a font. Do not ask for fonts that copy a specific existing typeface or trademark.

Fonts generated from a description or a reference image belong to AIFontGen, like the fonts in the library; you receive the rights of the AIFontGenerator Font License. A font made from photos of your handwriting holds your handwriting: it is private to your account, and it is deleted when you delete your account. Fonts you create are covered by the AIFontGenerator Font License in the same way as library fonts: on the Free plan, a font you make with the free sign-up credits can be previewed and tested on AIFontGen, and downloading it needs a Pro or Studio plan or a Font Pass (fonts made before October 12, 2026 keep their personal-use TTF download); a font you make on the Free plan with credits you paid for can be downloaded as a TTF for personal, non-commercial projects. A font you create while you have a Pro or Studio plan also comes in OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 and may be used commercially and redistributed as section 2 of the license describes, including after your plan ends. A font you create with an active Font Pass also comes in OTF, WOFF and WOFF2, for personal, non-commercial projects (fonts made with a Font Pass before October 12, 2026 keep the commercial rights they were made with). Fonts are made with AI, and every font is labeled as AI-generated; we cannot promise that a font is unique or unlike any other font.

On the Free plan, fonts you create are public: after review, we may add them to the AIFontGen library, where others can find and download them under the same license. Fonts you create on a paid plan or with a Font Pass are private.

Editing fonts in the Studio

You can edit fonts you created, fonts you upload, and your own copies of library fonts. Your own edits are free; each save builds and checks a new version, and earlier glyph states are kept so you can restore them. Adding a weight, redrawing a glyph with AI, and adding languages use credits: the price is shown before you start, and the credits are returned if the job does not finish. AI-drawn letters are checked and made to match your font, but they are new drawings that can differ from what you expected; review them before you use the font, and restore an earlier state if you prefer it.

Only upload fonts you are allowed to modify, such as your own designs or fonts under a license that permits changes (for example the SIL Open Font License, whose Reserved Font Names may not be used for your edited copy). Uploaded fonts stay private and keep their original license; we do not license them to you. Fonts whose embedding bits forbid editing cannot be opened.

A copy of a library font keeps that font's license and download rules: editing it does not change what you may download or how you may use it.

5. Plans and payments

Plans and prices. The pricing page lists every plan and pass, its price, the credits it includes and what it unlocks. Prices are in US dollars.
Subscriptions. Pro and Studio renew automatically every month or every year until you cancel. Monthly plans add their credits at the start of each billing month; yearly plans add one month of credits at the start of each month of the year. Plan credits end with the month they belong to.
Font Pass and extra credits. A Font Pass is a one-time purchase for personal, non-commercial projects: its 500 credits, its private fonts and its five library downloads last 12 months from payment. While it is active, it also lets you download the fonts you made with the free sign-up credits as TTFs for personal projects, without using one of the five library downloads. Commercial use comes with a Pro or Studio plan. Extra credits are sold to Pro and Studio subscribers and do not expire.
Cancelling. You can cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and its credits stay until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds. Our Refund Policy explains when we refund. A refunded payment ends what it paid for, and its unused credits are removed.
Merchant of Record. Payments are processed by Waffo.com Limited through its Waffo Pancake platform, our Merchant of Record, which runs checkout, charges your payment method, collects any sales tax or VAT and sends your receipt. Your bank statement may show "WAFFO" or "WAFFO PANCAKE". Your purchase is also subject to Waffo Pancake's terms shown at checkout.

6. Acceptable use

Our Acceptable Use Policy lists what you may not create or upload and how descriptions and images are checked. In addition, do not use AIFontGen to:

break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including uploading fonts or images you are not allowed to use;
resell, share, or publish library font files outside what the font license allows;
interfere with the website, probe it for vulnerabilities, or overload it;
impersonate others or create accounts to get around limits.

7. Our content

The website, its software, and the fonts in the AIFontGen library belong to AIFontGen. The font license gives you rights to use downloaded fonts; it does not transfer ownership.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. You can stop using AIFontGen at any time.

You can delete your account in Settings → Security. After you confirm the link we email you, the account is deleted at once and cannot be restored. Your remaining credits end without refund, and your handwriting fonts, uploaded fonts, copies of library fonts and uploaded images are deleted. Fonts generated from a description or an image stay with AIFontGen, no longer linked to you; public ones may stay in the library. Fonts you downloaded before deleting your account can still be used for personal, non-commercial projects under the AIFontGenerator Font License.
