Dugout Script gives connected baseball-style lettering a second contour that follows each letter. The dark strokes sit inside a thin outer outline with a narrow light channel, visible around the D and N in “Dugout Nine.”

Direction
Compare the letter-following outlines on light and dark fields, then check the channel against the neighboring marks in your composition.
“Dugout Nine” repeats at 16, 24 and 48 px on pale and dark backgrounds so the outer contour and light channel around individual letters can be compared.
At 48 px, the offset contours and narrow channels are easy to trace around the letters; at 16 px, those spaces tighten. The image does not establish cross-device contrast.

The line combines digits and punctuation from the measured common set with a short team-style phrase.

Choose
The capital D in “Dugout” has its own outer contour following the letter; it does not sit inside a phrase-wide oval.
The lowercase g descends below the baseline in a rounded loop.
A narrow light channel separates each dark letter stroke from its following outer contour.
Good for
Brief team or event headings that need connected script with a double-contour treatment around individual letters.
Check before using
The extra contour adds visual weight around each connected letter; keep the phrase short and leave the word room in its layout.
About
Its x-height is 55.5% of the cap height, near the 55.5% typical of script fonts in the library. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (99.4% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 43% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.47 to 1, and M is the widest capital, at 1.27 times the width of H. The O tops out level with H and stands 0.5% above the baseline.
Each solid letter is ringed by an outline with a clear gap between them, as on college lettering.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 31.8% of the cap height, and lowercase letters reach 49.1% past their own widths into the space of their neighbours. Spacing is adjusted with 45 kerning pairs, the most of all 1 script fonts. The tightest of them is TA, which closes up by 28.3% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Dugout Script will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 0.827 em in Dugout Script. Its narrower advance can help when that capital repeats in a compact heading.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.465 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
