Amore Nib draws a formal connected script with angled strokes and small heart-shaped dots. Its capital A rises into a broad loop; lowercase joins carry the line into a long y exit.

Direction
Compare the short word with the longer phrase, then judge whether the heart dots and extended joins fit your lettering idea.
The short word “ivy,” the name “Ava” and the phrase “little ivy” first appear at the same 64 px size. A second pair uses 83 px for “ivy” and 32 px for “little ivy”; both lines occupy about 92 px of text width. These are lettering examples, not a skin test or a customer design.
At 64 px, compare how the longer phrase takes more width. In the second pair, the two lines are nearly the same width: 91.88 px for “ivy” and 91.84 px for “little ivy.” Neither line is stretched; this compares text width, not the outer edges of the visible letters. Compare the lowercase heart dots, joins and y exit as a concept only.

“little ivy” appears at 16, 24 and 48 px on light and dark backgrounds so the lowercase i dots, connected joins and open spaces can be compared.
At 16 px, the fine joins and heart dots are compact; at 48 px, the letter edges and y exit are easier to inspect. These local screen previews do not predict skin results.

“Ivy” uses a tall, looped capital I followed by connected v and y; Acorn Birch sets the condensed supporting lines. The capital I has no lowercase heart dot.

Choose
The lowercase i has a heart-shaped dot, visible in the “ivy” sample.
The capital A starts with a loop that crosses back toward its entry stroke.
The lowercase y descends below the baseline and finishes with a long rightward exit.
Good for
Short names and phrases where connected lettering and a heart detail carry the message.
Check before using
The tall capitals and linked lowercase forms need room, so the face competes with instructions or extended reading.
About
Its x-height is 46.9% of the cap height, near the 46.9% typical of script fonts in the library. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (99% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 51.7% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.50 to 1, and N is the widest capital, at 1.16 times the width of H. The O stops 1% of the cap height short of H and sits on the baseline.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 34.5% of the cap height, and lowercase letters reach 21.4% past their own widths into the space of their neighbours. Spacing is adjusted with 44 kerning pairs, the most of all 1 script fonts. The tightest of them is TA, which closes up by 29.9% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Amore Nib will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amour Shadow reserves 0.765 em versus 0.773 em in Amore Nib. Its narrower advance can help when that capital repeats in a compact heading.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.468 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
