Dovetail Quill preserves the recovered file’s steeply slanted, high-contrast outlines. In the cover specimen, several strokes crowd together in “Hello World,” so the overall phrase appears unusually dense at this display setting.

Direction
Try your intended wording locally first and inspect the exact letters and joins before using it in a finished layout.
“Été à Lyon” shows the acute accents in É and é and the grave accent in à within one compact phrase. This sample shows those letters in the file; it does not cover every French word or layout.
Use this line to check how the accented letters sit beside plain capitals and lowercase forms. The nearby joins still crowd at this display size, so inspect your own wording before using it in a finished title.
The file also lacks £, ¥, % and #. Avoid those marks in prices or tags unless another confirmed font supplies them.

“façade” and “Grüße aus Köln” show a French cedilla and German ß, ü and ö in familiar words. These examples reveal the mapped letters in this file’s normal text display; they do not claim alternate glyph behavior.
Compare the close joins around each word at the same display size. The file covers the accented characters shown here, while the outlines can still look crowded where strokes meet.

“Bal de Nuit” gives this slanted script a short event title to inspect in a poster-sized line. See how the capitals and connected lowercase sit together across the line.

Choose
The capitals rise at a strong forward angle in the cover phrase.
Adjacent strokes in “Hello” nearly touch at the rendered display size.
The lowercase o counters remain narrow where the connected strokes enter and leave.
Good for
Try a particular short name or phrase at its intended size before deciding whether to use this file; the local preview shows the recovered letter shapes.
Check before using
Do not infer smooth long-form use from the category label; inspect each actual phrase because joins can crowd together. The preview does not certify a font’s history or provenance.
About
Its x-height is 69% of the cap height, near the 69% typical of script fonts in the library. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (100% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 22.7% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 2.23 to 1, and M is the widest capital, at 1.67 times the width of H. The O stops 31% of the cap height short of H and sits on the baseline.
Its 179 characters include 124 Latin letters, plus 55 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 72 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 47.8% of the cap height, and lowercase letters reach 15.2% past their own widths into the space of their neighbours. Spacing is adjusted with 1,478 kerning pairs, the most of all 1 script fonts. The tightest of them is ZZ, which closes up by 22.9% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Dovetail Quill will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 1.123 em in Dovetail Quill. Its narrower advance can help when that capital repeats in a compact heading.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 1.206 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
