Cursive Soft Bounce uses bold connected lowercase letters with rounded bowls. Its wide capital entry and compact joins are visible in “Mila,” while the confusable-character panel shows how the upright I, l and 1 differ.

Direction
Inspect the confusable glyphs at the same scale, then check the full wording in the layout where you plan to use it.
Uppercase I, lowercase l and the digit 1 are common visual confusables. This panel enlarges each mapped glyph from Cursive Soft Bounce at the same 112 px setting.
The uppercase I has an open curved top and lower hook; lowercase l encloses a tall loop, while numeral 1 has a short angled entry. Compare their outlines rather than relying on context-free recognition claims.

The sequence “Il1” repeats at 16, 24 and 48 px on light and dark backgrounds. It compares uppercase I, lowercase l and the digit 1 in one fixed string.
The small rendering brings the close vertical strokes together; the larger one makes their different entry shapes easier to inspect. These images do not measure recognition rates or certify accessibility.

Cursive Soft Bounce carries the brief title “Mila”; Acorn Birch holds a short explanation. The pairing lets the script supply personality while the smaller line stays separate.

Choose
The uppercase I has a curved top stroke and a short lower hook, without a closed loop.
The lowercase l forms a narrow closed loop beside the other glyphs.
The digit 1 has a short angled entry above a straighter stem, distinct from the letter shapes.
Good for
Display lettering where a specific confusing character pair should be compared in its actual outline rather than assumed to look familiar.
Check before using
Do not infer recognition accuracy from the shape comparison; check names and numbers in their full context.
About
Cursive Soft Bounce's lowercase x reaches 73.9% of the capital height, close to the 73.9% median for script fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 23.6% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 21% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.24 to 1, and W is the widest capital, at 1.26 times the width of H. The O stops 0.8% of the cap height short of H and stands 0.7% above the baseline.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 45.7% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 3.5% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Cursive Soft Bounce will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 0.664 em in Cursive Soft Bounce. Its wider layout space can change a short title’s line break.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.738 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
