Choose
The capital R begins with a broad entry loop in “Ribbon.”
The two lowercase b letters rise above the other letters in the same word.
The lowercase f in “Leaf” crosses the tall stem with a short bar.
Good for
Short package titles and feature headings that have room for the wide capitals and flowing connectors.
Check before using
The hairline connectors and extended turns need contrast and space; avoid treating it as a compact small-text face.
About
Cursive Ribbon Flow's lowercase x reaches 67.7% of the capital height, close to the 67.7% median for script fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 5.3% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 36.9% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is close to a circle, 1.04 times as wide as it is tall, and W is the widest capital, at 1.25 times the width of H. The O stops 5.7% of the cap height short of H and stands 5.3% above the baseline.
The letters lean about 14° to the right, where most script fonts in the library stand upright.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 45.1% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 3.9% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Cursive Ribbon Flow will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 0.657 em in Cursive Ribbon Flow. Its wider layout space can change a short title’s line break.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.581 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
