Cursive Letterpress Slant sets title-case words with a strong rightward lean, broad capital turns and connected lowercase. In the rendered “Market Lane” sample, the capital M and L provide the tall accents while the lowercase letters carry the phrase as one flowing line.

Direction
Pair a short title with its secondary line, then check the capital loops and connected lowercase at the final width.
Cursive Letterpress Slant sets the sign title; Acorn Birch carries the deck and reading line. In the rendered sample, the headline has connected lowercase while the companion has a much narrower upright texture.
The title is 64 px, with a 28 px deck and 20 px reading line. The companion is tall and condensed, so keep its wording short and judge the contrast in the complete layout.

“Market Lane” repeats at five preview sizes, from a compact 12 px line to a much larger 96 px rendering. The title-case capitals and connected lowercase remain visible at each setting.

Test
Type the words you plan to use and adjust size, line height, and letter spacing. The preview uses the final font file.

Choose
The capital M begins with a long rising entry stroke before its first tall stem.
The lowercase a, r and k remain connected along the right-slanting baseline.
The capital L starts with a broad loop that contrasts with the compact lowercase e and n.
Good for
Short shop headings where a joined, slanted title can sit above compact supporting details.
Check before using
The connected lowercase line needs room and clear separation from nearby copy; inspect the exact phrase before using a tight label.
About
Its x-height is 62.5% of the cap height, near the 62.5% typical of script fonts in the library. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l rise 10.6% above the capitals, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 26.4% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.61 to 1, and Z is the widest capital, at 1.24 times the width of H. The O stops 3.8% of the cap height short of H and stands 7.2% above the baseline.
The letters lean roughly 20° to the right, where most script fonts in the library stand upright. The contrast is mild: the sides of o and O are 1.47 times as thick as their tops and bottoms.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 45.3% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 3.5% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Cursive Letterpress Slant will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 0.717 em in Cursive Letterpress Slant. Its wider layout space can change a short title’s line break.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.665 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
