Anchor Script uses connected, strongly slanted strokes with broad looped capitals and a firm dark weight. The lowercase forms are compact beneath tall ascenders, giving the phrase a quick forward movement.

Set the headline and support line together, then check the line break at the width where it will appear.
Anchor Script sets “Hello Harbor” as the brief headline; Acorn Birch carries the deck and reading line in a narrow, upright texture.
At 64 px, “Hello Harbor” is the headline. The companion steps down to 28 px and 20 px for the deck and sentence; the text uses distinct forms and a tightly condensed upright texture.

“Harbor Notes” keeps the capital loops and connected lowercase visible without adding a second script line.

Choose
The capital H begins with an open loop and a long low entry stroke.
The lowercase l ascender rises above the joined letters in “Hello Harbor.”
The lowercase o uses a compact rounded bowl within the slanted word.
Good for
A short headline paired with plain supporting copy when the script should carry emphasis.
Check before using
Its slanted joins and compact bowls make it a poor fit for dense explanatory paragraphs or narrow multi-line blocks.
About
Anchor Script's lowercase x reaches 47.5% of the capital height, close to the 47.5% median for script fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l line up with the capitals (99.2% of their height), and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 50.9% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is wider than it is tall, 1.69 to 1, and M is the widest capital, at 1.29 times the width of H. The O tops out level with H and stands 0.4% above the baseline.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 35.4% of the cap height, and lowercase letters reach 30% past their own widths into the space of their neighbours. Spacing is adjusted with 54 kerning pairs, the most of all 1 script fonts. The tightest of them is FA, which closes up by 28.3% of the cap height. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Anchor Script will not line up exactly.

Method
We use the local font files to check which characters they contain and how each sample looks. AI helped prepare these observations and example wording. The images use the named font files without replacement letters; measurements describe those supplied files. Previews are examples, and display can vary between apps.
The current text and font-file specimens received an independent review.
For R, Amore Nib reserves 0.773 em versus 0.748 em in Anchor Script. Its wider layout space can change a short title’s line break.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.465 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
