Bubble Squircle Block draws a dense, rounded display face with a broad rounded O and compact lowercase forms. In the fixed subtitle frames, its wide letter shapes split even the short opening cue, while the longer line exceeds the region height. The page measures this exact specimen and does not infer editor compatibility.

Direction
Use the measured cue wraps to edit copy or enlarge the caption area, then verify the final subtitle in the software and video format you plan to use.
The preview places six timed subtitle samples in fixed caption boxes on a 1280 × 720 canvas. The time labels identify each sample; they do not rate reading speed. This layout preview does not test subtitle software or export.
The opening cue breaks as “Take the next / street.” The long second cue takes five lines; “the final train” and “leaves” extend past the bottom of their boxes by 11.288 px and 56.288 px. The other four cues fit. Across the sheet, the text adds eight lines beyond the original cue lines. A shorter second cue or taller box would give it room. This is a layout preview, not a test in subtitle software or an exported video.

These glyphs isolate the exact shapes discussed in the six-cue layout, at one shared 112 px preview size.

Test
Type the words you plan to use and adjust size, line height, and letter spacing. The preview uses the final font file.

Choose
The uppercase O in “LOOK OUT!” has a broad rounded outline that fills much of its cap box.
The lowercase g in “long” has a rounded bowl and a short open descending hook in the rendered line.
The lowercase a in “travels” uses a compact counter, visible between the surrounding heavy strokes.
Good for
Try it for short, bold display lines where rounded forms should carry the voice; test the actual caption length before fixing a frame.
Check before using
The long cue needs several lines in this fixed box, and the file was not tested in subtitle software. Its display weight may also dominate smaller supporting copy.
About
Bubble Squircle Block's lowercase x reaches 73.3% of the capital height, close to the 73.3% median for display fonts. Ascenders on b, d, h, k and l stop at 88% of the capital height, and descenders on g, j, p, q and y drop 10.3% of the cap height below the baseline. The o is close to a circle, 1.08 times as wide as it is tall, and T is the widest capital, at 1.05 times the width of H. The O stops 1.4% of the cap height short of H and dips 1.1% below the baseline.
The letters stand upright, leaning less than 2.5° either way. It is close to monoline, with the sides of o and O 1.06 times as thick as their tops and bottoms.
Its 148 characters include 105 Latin letters, plus 43 figures, punctuation marks and symbols; 53 of the Latin letters are accented or special forms beyond A to Z. The word space measures 45.9% of the cap height, and the blank space either side of a lowercase letter takes up 12% of its width. The font carries no kerning, so spacing comes from each letter’s own side bearings. The figures have different widths, so columns of numbers set in Bubble Squircle Block will not line up exactly.

Bubble Pillow Square exchanges the rectangular O counter and slot-like g counter shown here for the round o forms visible in “Moon.” Its g advance is 0.616 em versus 0.559 em in Bubble Squircle Block; allow more lowercase width.
Acorn Birch gives g a 0.289 em advance; here it is 0.559 em. The alternative sets that character more tightly.
